Brian is responsible for middle-market sales, private capital placement, and leasing in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in office, retail, and development transactions. Brian came to Ethos Commercial Advisors with 13 years of commercial real estate experience gained in Portland and New York City. In New York he worked in investment property sales and leasing with Massey Knakal Realty Services (now Cushman & Wakefield) grossing more than $300 million in completed transactions and was awarded the Seventh Annual Michael Fuchs and Aby Rosen PIER Award, representing overall values of Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Responsibility. In Portland Brian worked for local industry leaders such as ScanlanKeperBard Companies and HFF. Brian earned his Master’s Degree for Real Estate Finance at New York University, graduating in May 2011. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Boston University, where he also minored in Spanish and spent a semester studying in Madrid, Spain. Outside of his professional life, Mr. Hanson spends time with his family and is active in snowboarding, surfing, and rock climbing.
